Who is CASEC?

1. CASEC is from The Japan Institute for English Measurement (JIEM). JIEM was established in 2000 as an Obunsha Group Company and has taken responsibilities of activities related to the research and development of accurate measuring techniques or testing in the field of education.

2. Since start of CASEC launch in 2001, over 1.35 million people has taken the test till March 2014. About 100 to 150 thousands people per year takes CASEC. (as of end of March 2015, accumulated number of CASEC users are 1,518,551)

3. Have been certified by the EIKEN Foundation of Japan (formerly the Society for Testing English Proficiency, Inc.), a public-interest incorporated foundation based in Tokyo
